Orchard Park is an 82-unit Assisted Living Facility providing accommodation to clients ranging from the totally independent to those requiring 24-hour assistance. Our facility is clean and manicured, inside and out, and as a well cared for home is a pleasant and energizing environment in which to live. We are staffed twenty-four hours a day with at least one licensed nurse and sufficient nursing aides to meet the needs of our present population. Staffing is adjusted based on census and acuity.

Apartments

Apartments range from studios to 2 bedroom/2 bath apartments and in size from 370 to 860 square feet. All are fully carpeted. All have private bath with walk-in showers. Each apartment is furnished with a built in refrigerator/freezer and a microwave located in a small kitchenette. All utilities (except phone) are included. Pets are welcome.

Heating of each apartment is by electric baseboard heaters with individual temperature control for each room. These apartments have an especially spacious feel due to their high ceilings and very large windows. This comment is heard often from those touring the building. Another much commended feature is the better than adequate storage, both within the apartment and in common storage areas.

Each apartment features a call system, with pull cords in both sleeping and bath areas. These cords activate pagers worn by nursing staff so that immediate response is made, no matter where staff is located. In addition, there is an intercom system in each apartment and call buttons strategically located throughout common areas.

There are two elevators for ease of access to 2nd and 3rd floors.

Laundry

Five guest laundries are provided for those wishing to do their own laundry.

Public & Private Dining Rooms

	Main Dining Room: This room will easily seat one hundred people and leave ample room for walkers and wheelchairs. It is designed and furnished to provide a comfortable home like atmosphere. Meals are served restaurant style by wait staff.
	Private Dining Room: A Private Dining Room is available on a first come first served basis. Orchard Park will cater functions or families can arrange for outside catering or self-catering.

Common Rooms

Common rooms are provided on both the first and second floor. These rooms provide excellent meeting places where residents/family/friends can read, play games, create or just sit quietly and meditate. The fireside room, which doubles as a library, is especially suited to this.
